Immersive 360° Cinematography
Visual storytelling is paramount to achieve impact on a giant dome, and the same holds true in VR.
Sébastien Gauthier is an internationally recognized pioneer in live-action fulldome filming. Over a decade ago, while fulldome and VR were largely dominated by CGI and early experiments with action-camera rigs or green screens, he engineered cinema-derived immersive cameras from professional systems, delivering bright, crisp, expressive images that tell human stories in broad daylight.
This approach opened the door to living subjects and daytime sequences, far beyond night-only timelapses, and rapidly built a reputation for excellence, resulting in multiple award-winning films.

For us, filming the subject is not the goal in itself. How we film it is what matters.
Spherical shot scales and deliberate framing
Camera position, speed, and field of view tailored to the dome
Pacing and editorial intent considered from pre-production
Projection scenography in mind: tilted vs flat domes, circular theaters, and VR each require different capture strategies
Filming services
Most dome theaters are larger than IMAX screens. Filming with GoPro-like action cameras will almost certainly fail to deliver the full potential of your dome.
